Two Dressage Colts Approved at the 2013 SBS Stallion Licensing

Two young dressage horses have been approved for breeding for the SBS studbook following the 2013 SBS Stallion Licensing held in Gesves, Belgium on 9 - 10 March 2013. The SBS studbook is a smaller breed society in Belgium mainly focusing on show jumping breeding.

Twenty-two colts in total were accepted for SBS breeding out of a crop of 45 stallions. Two dressage colts were positively assessed by the licensing committee.

The first approved dressage stallion is the 5-year old  Westfalian bred Rubin Cartier, by Rubin Cortes out of Dutch warmblood mare Utah (by Gribaldi x Variant). The stallion is owned by the Dutch based Frea Plantaz.

The second licensed dressage stallion is a 3-yearold Westfalian registered Showdancer. Sired by Stedinger out of Diva (by Donnerhall x Weltmeyer), this dark bay stallion is owned by IPS and Tom Franckx.
