The FEI Bureau approved the creation of an FEI Nations Cup Dressage series on a trial basis beginning in 2013. This decision was taken today at the FEI General Assembly in Instanbul, Turkey.
The provisional calendar is as follows:
CDIO 3* Vidauban (FRA), 17-20 May 2013
CDIO 3* Rotterdam (NED), 19-23 June 2013
CDIO 5* Aachen (GER), 26-30 June 2013
CDIO 5* Hickstead (GBR), 1-4 August 2013 (to be confirmed)
Any other CDIO outdoor competitions, with the exception of CDIO Wellington, FL (USA) which is of small tour level, will be included in the FEI Nations Cup Dressage series.
FEI Rules for Dressage relating to Team competitions (CDIO3*, 4*, 5*) will apply. The rules regarding the point system and participation will be available on the FEI website.
