FEI Dressage News

German Kristina Sprehe has made a giant leap on the 2012 FEI Riders Ranking while the top five has remained unaltered with the publication of the new ranking on 31 March 2012. Adelinde Cornelissen continues to be the number one dressage rider in the world.

Small changes took place in the positions 6 to 8 with Steffen Peters and Ravel dropping to 8th place, while Ulla Salzgeber and Herzruf's Erbe now covering the 6th position. Patrik Kittel and Scandic climbed one spot to 7th place.

The biggest leap was made by German Kristina Sprehe with her Hanoverian stallion Desperados (by De Niro x Wolkenstein II). Due to massive scores at the CDI Dortmund, Sprehe jumped from the 125th position on the ranking to place 17.

Germany is best represented with eight (!!) combinations in the top 20. Great Britain has three, The Netherlands and Sweden two.

German Christoph Koschel still covers the 12th place even though his horse sold to Danish Anna Kasprzak almost half a year ago.
