What was originally planned as a small get together with breeders and horse friends endedn up in a professionally organized stud show at  Gestuet Nymphenburg in Bad Zwischenahn last weekend.. „We never imagined so many people to be interested and drive so many hours to visit our small horse business”, said owner Helmut Freiherr von Fircks.

Von Fircks was totally overwhelmed on Sunday in front of more than 550 guests packed in his indoor arena. Even the mayor of the community of Bad Zwischenahn, Dr. Arno Schilling, answered the invitation of the Munich businessman. „When you find your way out to Oldenburg all the way from Munich, it underlines the significance of the Ammerland for the horse and breeding business. When I came here this morning, I had a hard time to park my car and I realized Gestuet Nymphenburg has found its home here.“

Also Wilhelm Weerda, the President of the Oldenburg Breeding Association, as well as the head of the Breeding Department, Dr. Wolfgang Schulze-Schleppinghoff, gave credit to the Family von Fircks and sent them well wishes for a successful future.

Thanks to Wilhelm Weerda, the horse loving family von Fircks found this place in 2008 to accommodate their passion for horses. „We are trying to merge sport, breeding business and customer care with a great portion of commitment and I think we are being successful,”, said von Fircks. „And we are happy to give the stallion business in the hands of people we trust.“

The stud show was hosted in collaboration with the Nordsee-Hengststation Folkers (Wangerland). A partnership, which just recently began due to a new stallion arrival forthe Family von Fircks: Besides the Hanoverian stallion Fuerst Nymphenburg (by Florencio x de Niro) – the number one Stallion of the Gestut - a recently licensed and awarded westfalian stallion joined the group: „Romulus von Nymphenburg“. He will be standing at the Nordsee -Hengststation Folkers in the future.

Romulus (by Rock Forever x Fürst Heinrich), just few weeks under saddle, was impressively shown by Tessa Frank at the start of his first stud season. Fuerst Nymphenburg, who just produced his first licensed son (Fuerst Nymphenburg x Wolkentanz), caught eyes with his powerful appearance and outstanding character. Being one of the most frequented stallions in Hannover, Fuerst Nymphenburg will still be available at the Celle Stud via the station in Verden.

Besides Fuerst Nymphenburg and two of his offspring, the Nordsee-Hengststation Folkers was impressively represented by Diomedes (by Belissimo M x Flemmingh) and Royal Doruto (by Royal Hit x Rubinstein).
