2011 CDI-W Mechelen

Those who claimed that the international dressage show in Mechelen, Belgium, is unable to attract a high quality field of star competitors, stand corrected. Star riders such as Adelinde Cornelissen, Edward Gal, Patrik Kittel, Nadine Capellmann and Helen Langehanenberg are travelling to Belgium for the CDI-W competition.

The World Cup Qualifier in Mechelen, the last of its kind as the FEI decided to remove Mechelen from the World Cup list because it was unable to attract enough top riders, has an exciting list of competitors which promise to bring an action-packed stadium.

The seven Belgian participants will compete in the big tour, including Belgian champion Jeroen Devroe and comeback kid Vicky Smits-Vanderhasselt on Daianira van de Helle.
