Swedish Young Rider Elin Aspnas has been selected by her federation to represent Sweden at the 2011 Young Riders World Cup Finals held at the CDI-W Frankfurt in Germany on 14 - 18 December 2011.
Aspnas will be saddling her 2011 European YR Championships mount Donna Romma, an 8-year old black Hanoverian mare by Don Frederico x Warkant.
"She did her first show in April last year. Then she made her debut again in April this year, so it's all gone pretty fast for her," said Aspnas. "At the moment she's giving all she's got. It's clear that I will ride in the Finals since I've qualified. It will be a useful experience."
The 19-year old young rider is also competing in the Under 25 Grand Prix circuit as well as the senior riders' Grand Prix circuit with Christo and has a new more experienced Grand Prix horse, Don Diamond, coming up.
Ida Kristoffersson and Rolex TP are the Swedish reserve pair in case Aspnas can't make it to Frankfurt.
