Top Dressage Team Hosted Young Horse Symposium in Perouge

The French association Top Dressage Team, which is based in the Rhone Alps area and is composed of breeders, riders, judges, organized  an evening on the theme of the Training of Young Horses on Monday 28 March 2011.

Monique Sattler, a dressage breeder and president of Top Dressage Team along with saddle maker Luc Childeric, the French Young Horse Society and the Regional Equestrian Committee invited several national and international riders ands trainers from all the disciplines -- jumping, eventing and dressage -- along with several officials of the French Federation, such as Marc Damians (President of SHF), Nadine Cochenet (president of the French Dressage Committee), Jacques Robert (Vice President of the French Federation).

Dirk Langle, a German veterinarian ans specialist in young horses spoke about the preparation of the young horse recently under saddle in relation to to their muscle built-up and bone structure.

International judge Bernard Maurel, French dressage rider Dominique Flament, Olympic show jumper Michel Robert  and eventing rider Michel Cochennet attended the event. This meeting was held in the lovely mediaeval village of Pérouge and aimed to share the different experiences on the training of young horses.
