Right before the CDIO Aachen, it was announced that Leunis van Lieren sold 50% of his horse Hexagon's Ollright to Dutch horse owner and dealer Wim Zegwaard. The 9-year old chestnut Dutch warmblood gelding (by Rubiquil x El Corona)

is currently Holland's third best Grand Prix dressage horse (based on scores) and was for sale only for a gigantic amount of money.

With the 50% sale of Ollright to Zegwaard, Eurodressage wondered if half of this "gigantic amount" has been paid for the horse. "No, this hasn't been done," Leunis van Lieren told Eurodressage at the CDIO Aachen. " I would only sell the horse for that much money if he were to go to another rider. With the current situation, Laurens continues to ride Ollright, so that changes it all. We are now certain that Laurens can ride the horse uptil the 2008 Olympic Games and then we can look at the situation again and see what we are going to do with the horse."

Laurens van Lieren, who is employed at Stable Zegwaard in Rijswijk, can relaxed about his future aboard Ollright until the Olympics in Hong Kong. At the CDIO Aachen, van Lieren won team gold with the Dutch team, a historical feat as the title has been in Germany's hands since 1977.
