The international FEI dressage pony Hertenhof's Sunlight has been sold to the 11-year old Maria van den Dungen from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Maria will take over the ride on Sunlight from owner and rider Astrid Langeberg

after the 2005 Dutch Pony Championships in Ermelo in September.

Langeberg and Hertenhof's Sunlight were members of the Dutch Pony team at two European Pony Championships. In Jaszkowo (Poland) last year, the pair won the team silver medal and finished 9th in the individual finals. At the European Championships in Pratoni del Vivaro (Italy) this year, the combination claimed the individual bronze medal and the team silver medal and became the best Dutch performing duo at the Championships.

Maria van den Dungen acquired the 14-year old Sunlight in agreement with Dutch pony Chef d'Equipe Mieke de Kok. Van den Dungen, who was regional M-champion with her buckskin pony Dodo, also has the triple European Championships' participant Milkshake under the saddle. She will be competing both Sunlight and Milkshake at FEI Pony level in 2006.
