The Dutch FEI Dressage Pony Milkshake has been sold to the 11-year old Maria van den Dungen, who will take over the ride from Robin Beekink in August 2005 after the 2005 European Pony Championships.

Fortunately for Holland, this talented, medal winning FEI Dressage Pony will stay in The Netherlands, despite many offers from abroad.

Under Robin Beekink, the roan gelding Milkshake participated at two European Pony Championships. At the 2003 European Championships at Necarne Castle (IRL), the pair won team silver and placed 11th in the individual finals. One year later at the Europeans in Jaszkowo (POL), they improved spectacularly by obtaining a 6th individual place and by winning the team silver with the Dutch team again. This year, Beekink and Milkshake are selected as reserves for the Dutch team at the 2005 European Pony Championships in Pratoni del Vivaro (ITA).

Under the supervision of trainer Coby van Baalen, the routinier Milkshake will be campaigned by Van den Dungen, who just became Regional Champion at M-Level in The Netherlands aboard Dodo. Maria will be showing the NRPS bred gelding at FEI Dressage Pony level (Z-level) as of next year.
