The Westfalian breeding stallion Blue Hors Future Cup has been sold to the Danish young rider Anna Kasprzak. Future Cup is a 9-year old Westfalian licensed stallion by Florestan out of Disco Lady (by Disco Star x Apart).

He was acquired by the Danish stallion station Blue Hors at the 1999 P.S.I. Auction in Ankum for 550,000 euro. The bay stallion has been standing at stud at Blue Hors in Randboel, Denmark, and has been competed in the international small tour by Andreas Helgstrand.

"Sometimes we have to sell a horse," Blue Hors manager Esben Moeller told Eurodressage. "We got an offer we couldn't refuse. Future Cup will stay at Blue Hors for breeding and the new rider will train him here with Andreas."

Despite the sale of Future Cup, Helgstrand will not lose a small tour horse. He will be showing the 9-year old Danish licensed stallion Blue Hors Hertug (by Schwadroneur x Donauwind) and the 8-year old Danish warmblood mare Matine (by Silver Moon) at Prix St Georges level this year.

Helgstrand and all of Blue Hors' show horses are trained under the supervision of German Rudolf Zeilinger.
