Merlot is a beautifully bred 11-year old Oldenburg gelding. He is very confirmed at small tour level and is schooling some of the GP movements at home.

As a 7-year-old he competed at the 2019 World Young Horse Championships and other international competitions. He has several placings and won his most recent national show at S* level in Germany.

Merlot is a real eye catcher with a powerful trot and canter. He is very good to ride at competitions, is not spooky, travels well, and is a real people horse. He is very light on the aids and good to ride in both snaffle and double bridle. 

This beautiful gelding is the ideal horse for any junior/young rider or adult rider who would like to compete successfully nationally and internationally. He has not yet reached his full potential and is now looking for his next rider with whom he can continue to develop.
