The 5-year old Florina and the 6-year old XX were the winners of the Bundeschampionat qualification classes held at the regional show at the Silverbergthof equestrian centre in Wipperfurth-Kreuzberg on 2 - 3 May 2015. The L-level test was judged by Arndt Wiebus, Heinz-Holger Lammers, and Ulrike Hunecke. The latter judge was replaced by Catrin Wingender for the M-level test.
Aboard Walter Droege's Hanoverian mare Florina (by Furst Romancier x Donnerhall), Claudia Ruscher topped the leader board with an 8.3 total, earning 8.5 for trot, 8 for walk, 8.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Ruscher edged out Eva Möller on Elaine Yeh's Oldenburg bred Quick Nick (by Quaterback x Abanos). The dup placed second with 8.2 after earning 8.5 for trot, 8 for walk, canter and submission and 8.5 for general impression.
Former German pony team rider Lydia Camp steered Alexis Vrachoritis' Hanoverian bred Fidibus (by Fidertanz x Hohenstein) to victory in the 6-year old dressage horse class. The pair scored a total of 7.7 which does not suffice for a ticket to the Finals in Warendorf (the minimum has to be 8.0.). Fidibus got 7.5 for walk, trot and canter and 8.0 for submission and general impression. Heiner Schiergen and Christian Becks' Westfalian bred Daley Thompsen (by Damon Hill x Lauries Crusador xx) slotted in second with 7.6. The dark bay, who was trained and competed by Claudia Ruscher last year, scored 7.5 for walk and trot, 8 for canter and 7.5 for submission and general impression.
