A Freestyle Forum for Rider and Judge

Following the first highly successful FEI Freestyle Forum in Germany in 2005, Britain is now hosting the world’s second FEI Forum to discuss the kur. Riders will have the opportunity to understand what a top panel of judges look for in a freestyle test, where marks are lost and gained. Top composers will provide an insight to their ideal kur, including tips for riders producing their music themselves. The panel will discuss the way forward for the future for freestyles and how the consistency of judging can be improved. A forum for both rider and judge.

The panel includes O-judges: Mariette Withages and Stephen Clarke; international rider and trainer Kyra Kyrklund; creator of the Freestyle to music and World Cup Joep Bartels; and composers Cees Slings, international composer who amongst others also produced all of Anky Van Grunsven’s music and Joost Peeters, composer of many Dutch kurs for international riders such as Imke Bartels and Laurens van Lieren.
