Sönke Rothenberger made his CDI Grand Prix debut on a new ride, Santiano R (by San Amour). The pair produced a very well ridden round with lovely passage work, but the piaffe was too forward and not enough steps. Unfortunately the walk is very limited and the horse ground its teeth.
