Olympic team rider Nicola McGivern and her equestrian
stable
Active Equestrian are looking for experienced
grooms that have thorough experience
in grooming and care taking of international calibre
horses.
Duties include all aspects of horse care such as grooming,
cleaning, turnout, tacking, etc. for competitive dressage
horses, as well as barn maintenance duties. The successful
candidate will also be required to travel and fly with
the horses as well as be confident in handling big
horses. A wonderful opportunity to work with and learn
from international quality horses and riders.
Active Equestrian offers a 5 ½ day
work week with 4 weeks paid holiday per year. Outstanding
living accommodation will be provided. It includes
own bedroom, shared bathroom,
kitchen and living room as well as sky tv.
The groom must have a driver's license as Active
Equestrian has two yards, which
are
7 miles
apart.
A lorry driver's license is preferable but not essential.
