Peppino, Experienced FEI Dressage Pony

Peppino is brilliant German bred FEI Dressage Pony gelding who has been a consistent performer at European pony top level!!! This bay beauty has incredible amounts of show experience and is a solid 70% performer in the show ring. He would be a perfect choice if you want to have trophy and medal guarantees at FEI pony dressage. This 12-year old dark bay gelding is absolutely drop dead gorgeous and has three top class gaits.

Peppino has been competing at FEI level since he is six years old and has taken four different riders on the national pony team to the European Pony Championships. He has amazing hind leg action, is hugely talented and always haves like a real gentleman.

His list of achievements is impressive. In 2001, he became the reserve champion as a 6-year old at the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf, Germany. In 2000, he had placed fifth as a 5-year ol dat these German Young Dressage Pony Championships. In 2002, he won the team bronze medal at the European Championships, in 2005 he won team silver at the CDIO-P in Saumur, in 2006 he won team bronze at the CDIO-P in Saumur and was member of the British pony team at the European Championships. From 2005 to 2007, he always placed at the top at all premier league competitions in Great Britain and obtained numbers individual placings at international pony competitions in Europe. He scores consistently between 68 and 73%.

As his owner has turned 17 and moved on to junior riders level, Peppino is now looking for a new owner/rider who can offer him a five-star home. He has been in the same home for the past 5 years. He is a family friend and will be hugely missed, but deserves to further his career and take the next rider to an individual medal. He is 100% sound and the owner is open to any vetting.

Peppino works at Grand Prix level. He does canter pirouettes, flying changes, and piaffe and passage are established. This pony is a true schoolmaster. He never spooks, travels well and has taken four different riders to the top. He is extremely loving and a dream to own. Peppino will take an ambitious rider directly to the medals.
