Dornbusch, FEI Dressage Pony

Don't miss this chance to buy a fantastic FEI Dressage Pony schoolmaster which has been a triple Bundeschampionate finallist and won the 2004 Westfalian Pony Championships as a 6-year old. Dornbusch is a lovely solid FEI Dressage Pony who would make an ideal partner for young, ambitious children who would like to compete at international pony level.

Dornbusch is a Westfalian registered German Reitpony gelding. As early as a 4-year old, this roan-bay gelding participated in the Bundeschampionate, the most important German show for young dressage ponies. In 2002, Dornbusch competed in his first Bundeschampionate. The next year he finished seventh in the 5-year old Dressage Pony finals with a 7.3 score. In 2004, he was sixth in the qualifier with 7.9 and sixth in the finals with 7.8.

Successful as a young dressage pony, Dornbusch was destined to be an FEI level pony. He continued to be trained up to FEI and was sold to a novice young child who did her first L-level and FEI pony level tests with him. At the international 2008 CDI-P Bonn show, Dornbusch scored 63.684% in the national level pony class.

Dornbusch is an ideal pony for a young child who wants to compete at FEI pony level with a safe, experienced and uncomplicated dressage pony. He has a very steady character, is easy and willing under saddle and has no vices.

Dornbusch has been professionally trained and been in professional care his entire life which makes for his solid training and development. He is currently being trained by a former European Pony Champion and is ready to take a new owner/rider to ribbons and trophies.
