Chloe Gasiorowski was named the Dressage Canada Owner of the Year 2019 at the EC Dressage Recognition Reception held in the Tanbark Club at the Royal Horse Show in Toronto, ON, on 5 November 2019.
Chloe Gasiorowski of Toronto, ON, has been named the 2019 Dressage Owner of the Year in recognition of her support of the Canadian Dressage Team through the provision of her talented 11-year-old Hanoverian, Floratina (Fidertanz 2 x Rubin Royal OLD) to Team athlete, Lindsay Kellock of Wellington, FL.
Kellock helped Gasiorowski purchase the bay mare in November 2018, and Gasiorowski subsequently passed the ride over to her friend and coach to campaign for the Lima 2019 Pan American Games in Peru. Together, Kellock and Floratina scored above 70% in every single test performed at the FEI level, and helped Team Canada secure the silver medal at the 2019 CDIO 3* Nations Cup in Wellington, FL.
The strength of their partnership easily accomplished Kellock and Gasiorowski’s goal of earning a spot on the Pan Ams team and beyond: Once in Lima, Kellock and Floratina not only finished commendably in seventh place individually for their major games debut, but also helped the Canadian Dressage Team bring the team gold medal home to Canada for the first time in 28 years.
