Open Day at Tokyo Olympic Equestrian Park, One Year Ahead of Games

The JRA equestrian park, which will host the equestrian disciplines for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, was opened to the public for one day on 15 July 2019. 

Japan has proven its efficiency once more as construction at the equestrian park is ahead of schedule, with one year to go till the Olympics. Dressage is programmed for 23 - 29 July 2020. 

On 15 July 2019 the equestrian park was opened for the locals for one day. The stables, main arena and indoor school were presented to the public, while five Japanese horse-and-rider combinations gave demonstrations to the public in dressage and show jumping.

Dressage was represented by riders Yasushi Shimizu and Maria Takada.
