Jameson RS2 became the top scoring stallion of the older colts participating in a shortened 21-day version of the 2018 KWPN Autumn Stallion Performance Testing in Ermelo, the Netherlands.

The 2018 KWPN Autumn stallion performance testing has been taking longer than expected as an outbreak of Equine Herpes Virus happened at the KNHS headquarters, which put the testing on hold. One horse tested posted to EHV-1 on Friday 26 October and two horses showed clinical signs. They were quarantined. On 6 November they were negative to EHV-1 and the testing resumed.

The testing for the 3-year old colts (50 days in total) will conclude on 24 November. The four older stallions, which had to do 21 days, had their final day on 14 November.

Three out of four older stallions passed the testing.

The 2017 KWPN Licensing Champion Jameson RS2 (by Zack x Negro) became the top scoring stallion with 90 points. Jameson was not tested in 2017 because his owners, Saskia and Jacques Lemmens, decided that in the best interest of the stallion it was not ideal to have a 3-year old undergo such a strenuous test. Under Marieke van der Putten, the now 4-year old Jameson won the Pavo Cup Finals and was now eligible to do the shortened test. Jameson scored 7.5 for walk, 9 for trot, 10 for canter, 9.5 for suppleness, self carriage and balance, 9 for rideability and potential as a dressage horse.

The 4-year old Jason (by Johnson x Negro), bred by W. Verschuren and owned by Gert Jan van Olst, scored 84.5 points. He got 8.5 for walk, 8 for trot, 9 for canter, 8 for suppleness and self carriage, 9 for rideability and 8.5 for potential.

Jheronimus (by Dream Boy x Jazz) finished with 83 points. He is bred and owned by W. Van Weert and scored 8.5 for walk, 8 for trot and canter, 8.5 for suppleness, self carriage, rideability and potential.

The 5-year old Ivanof (by Desperado x Fidertanz) failed the testing with 71.5 points. The stallion got 7.5 for walk, 7 for trot, canter, suppleness, 6.5 for self carraige, 8 for rideabiity and 7 for potential. This did not suffice for him to achieve the required minimum to be licensed for breeding. Ivanof is bred by F. Baumler, was presented at the 2016 licensing by Ad Valk and the Andeweg family. He is now owned by R. van Gelder.
