Dante's Jr

The 3-year old Hanoverian premium licensed stallion Dante's Jr has passed away. The stallion did not survive a colic attack.

Dante's Jr, who's name has also been spelled Dante's Junior, was by Dante Weltino out of Silber Wolke JM (by Sir Donnerhall x Wolkentanz I).

The dark bay stallion was owned by Paul Schockemohle. The youngster completed his 14-day stallion performance test in Schlieckau with an 8.0 score and stood at stud since February. He has not been competed in any young horse classes this year.

The young talented stallion, who enjoyed quite some interest from the breeders, passed away after colic surgery three weeks ago.

"He died of an acute heart failure after a colic operation," Schockemohle spokesperson Christof Hinkel confirmed to Eurodressage.
