A fourth show in a short period of time has announced the cancelation of its 2018 edition. The 2018 CDI Pompadour, which was scheduled to take place 22 - 24 June, has been canceled.

After the cancelations of the CDI Saumur (equine herpes virus), CDI-W Lipica (equine herpes), and CDI Roosendaal (financial issues), Pompadour now follows.

Pompadour already pulled the plug back in January.

Pompadour has been a long-time fixture on the French CDI calendar but for budget reasons the 2016 edition was dropped. In 2017 they returned to the calendar, but for 2018 they are gone again.

The Spanish youth riders had a team observation trial scheduled for Pompadour. This trial has now been relocated to the CDI Ponte de Lima in Portugal on 28 June - 1 July.

In September the 2018 CDI Mallorca was also not take place. They already dropped their 2017 edition as well as their 2018 event, although the Mallorca organizers told Eurodressage they hope to come back in 2019.
