Helgstrand Dressage has struck a collaboration with the Swedish Gransbo stallion station and will be shipping young colts Ferdades and Suarez to Sweden to stand at stud there this 2018 breeding season.

Gransbo stuteri has long-standing collaborations with VDL Stud in The Netherlands and Blue Hors stud in Denmark. It has now also joined forces with Helgstrand Dressage.

After the Helgstrand open house day and stallion show on 7 April, Ferdades and Suarez will move to Sweden on time for the Gransbo stallion show on 14 April at the Astorps riding school. Both colts recently completed their mandatory 10-day observation test for Danish warmblood approval.

The 3-year old Hanoverian bred Suarez is by Sezuan out of Damandala (by Desperados x Rotspon). He was approved at the 2017 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing in Verden, where he was acquired by Helgstrand. Dam Damandala is the full sister to the dam that produced the licensed Toto Jr and Decurio. Suarez also passed the 2018 Danish warmblood licensing.

The 4-year old Oldenburg bred Ferdades is by Furstenball out of Daylight (by Donnerhall x Lauries Crusador xx) and he was licensed at the 2017 Oldenburg Stallion Licensing. Dam Daylight also produced the licensed Zoul Mate. The black was also approved at the 2018 Danish warmblood licensing.

In the dressage world, Gransbo Stuteri is best known for owning Rose Mathisen's current Swedish team horse Zuidenwind (by OO Seven x Jazz) and the former Swedish team horse Bocelli (by Don Schufro x Bernstein).
