Benefit, the 2017 Oldenburg Stallion Licensing Champion by Belantis x Sir Tender, will be staying in Germany for the 2018 breeding season. His Swedish owner Antonia Ax:son Johnson has decided not to bring him to Sweden just yet.

"We are happy to have many requests for him in Germany, so we decided it was the best for him to stay the season,"  Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfven told Eurodressage. The Swedish Grand Prix rider heads Ax:son Johnson's Lovsta Stuteri in Sweden and she and her sponsor are currently spending time in Wellington, Florida, where Tinne will compete Antonia's FEI level horses.

Benefit (by Belantis x Sir Tender x Welton x Figaro) is bred by Angelika Krause and the grey stallion sold for 600,000 euro to Ax:son Johnson at the auction following the licensing.

The colt will not move in training at Lovsta stuteri, but instead will stay in Germany at stallion station Böckmann.

"Sandra Kötter will ride him," Vilhelmson added. "After the season he returns to Sweden and will stay with us."
