Chardonnay, Price Highlight of the 2016 Equine Elite Auction

The 9-year old small tour horse Chardonnay became the price highlight of the 2016 Equine Elite Auction which took place at Stable Korenbloem in Weert, The Netherlands, on 29 October 2016.

The bay Chardonnay (by Westpoiunt x Wellington x Compromis), who is originally named Calrieta H, sold for 200,000 euro to VMF Stables for Stephanie de Frel to ride. The bay KWPN mare was previously trained and competed by British Daniel Watson.

The second most expensive horse was the internationally competed young riders' horse Parole (by Pasolonge x Rosso di Sera). The 12-year old Bavarian mare fetched a price of 180,000 euro. The chestnut Parole was previously competed by Lotte Meulendijks.

Joyce Lenaerts' 12-year old internationally competed small tour horse Show Boy (by Show Star x Dimension) changed owners for 95,000 euro

Patrick van der Meer's 9-year old Chapeau (by Lord Loxley x Jazz x Grand Cru) achieved a knock down price of 150,000 euro, while Lens Nekeman's 8-year old Deejay (by Vivaldo x Farrington x Ulster) sold for 140,000 euro.

Seth Boschman's Grand Prix horse Adriaan RVL, an 11-year old KWPN gelding by Special D x Darwin x Troubadour who has been renamed Andor, sold for 125,000 euro, while the 3-year old Westfalian licensed stallion Scotch (by Sandro Hit x Hohenstein) found new owners for 135,000 euro.
