The Eilberg siblings made a flying start to the year as they totalled seven wins at the national High Profile Show held at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre on 20-22 January 2012. Michael Eilberg and Half Moon Delphi won the Grand Prix with 73.085% and bested a field of twenty-seven competitors in total.

Michael was on great form with five plus 70% wins from medium to Grand Prix level. With his father’s twelve year old Corland bred gelding Torino, Michael stole the show in the Friday and Saturday Prix St Georges classes with 71.674% and 73.377% respectively.

The Friday Prix St Georges was split up into two groups. While Eilberg reigned in group two, the first group was dominated by Anne Marie Perry on Feine Dame, scoring a winning 69.605% ahead of Alex Hardwick on Calvin G and Paul Hayler on Loumic Antioni who both scored approximately 68.5% to complete the top three.

Maria had to settle for second in the Saturday PSG, scoring a marginal .965% below her brother. But more than made up for it with two intermediate I level wins over the weekend. In the Friday competition, it was Lynne Crowden’s ten year old Rotspon stallion Woodlander Rockstar who helped Maria to the top spot on 71.140%. On Saturday Maria and Camilla Anderson’s Jazz gelding U-Rockstar made their first start at the level, taking home a win on 69.518%.

In only their second outing at Grand Prix level Michael and Julie Deverill’s Dimaggio mare Half Moon Delphi set a new GP personal best with 73.085%. Garath Hughes and Ann Newton's 11-year old Oldenburg Duvie (by Ducello) were second with 70.142% followed by Emily Cousins on Solo Bachelorette with 70.035%. Australian Mary Hanna saddled Sancette (by Sandro Hit) for the class and finished fifth with 68.191%. British European team gold medallist Emile Faurie and his Danish gelding Elmegardens Marquis were unfortunately eliminated because the horse wore ear muffs which are not allowed at indoor national shows.

West Sussex riders Sarah Millis made her trip to Addington worthwhile with a win. Sarah and Katja Kuistila’s Australian import HP Frontier (by Falkrich) have been out together on the British circuit since June 2011, and improved on previous scores with a 68.889% win in the grand prix special.

At FEI Pony level Alexandra Hellings and Dublin scored a whopping 72.949% to reign supreme in the team championship test ahead of British team member Maisie Scruton on Rembrandt (70.385%). Former pony rider Claire Gallimore made her junior riders' debut with Daniolo and won the team test with 71.081% while young rider Alex Hardwick bested the field in the YR team test with 71.711% riding Calvin G.

In the youth riders divisions the individual tests were ridden on Sunday. Emma Corbett and the Westfalian Furst Diamantino (by Furst Heinrich x Diamantino) won the Young riders class with 68.421%. Junior Jessica Gale and Umbro S aced her age category with 66.316%, while Scruton and Rembrandt topped the leader board amongst the ponies with 70.976%
