Four stallions were licensed to breed for the Hanoverian society following the 2011 Hanoverian Under-Saddle approval which took place in Adelheidsdorf, Germany, on Thursday 6 October 2011.

Two dressage stallions and two show jumpers were accepted for breeding after an in-hand presention on hard surface, movement and jumping in freedom, and an under saddle presentation.

Hanover accepted two "older" dressage stallions: the Dutch warmblood stallion Bon Bravour (by Painted Black x Chronos) and the Hanoverian Lemony's Nicket (by Londonderry x Weltmeyer x Latino).

Under Belgian rider Tom Franckx-Goen the 5-year old dark bay stallion Bon Bravour finished fifth at the 2011 World Young Horse Championships in Verden, became reserve Pavo Cup Champion this year and won the 2011 Belgian young horse championships.

The 3-year old Lemony's Nicket was a champion at the 2011 Bundeschampionate and was awarded the "premium" status by the licensing committee in Adelheidsdorf. The fact that he received his breeding approval right before being sold at the Verden Elite Auction this weekend will boost his sales price.

The two accepted show jumpers are Dutschke (by Drosselklang II x Ile de Bourbon) and Lord Argentinus (by Lord Pezi x Argentinus).
