Edward Gal received a standing ovation from 7,000 people after his Kur to Music ride at the CDI Stuttgart. Aboard the Dutch warmblood stallion Totilas (by Gribaldi/T), Gal scored 87,800% for his lovely freestyle. The black stallion was light and expressive at all time. In the extended trot he lacked overtrack on the diagonals before X. The trot half pass left was superb and better than the one to the right. The double canter pirouettes were mind blowing. All tempi changes were well executed but in the two's the horse lost straightness in the body especially in the changes to the right. The final transition from extended canter to passage was a bit abrupt but all in all it was a world class test that no other rider was able to match in Stuttgart.
