There are no changes in the Dutch junior A-team, though the lates new A-team member is former pony rider Sanne van Grotel on the Dutch warmblood gelding Melvin (by Flemmingh) previously competed at international Grand Prix level by Imke Schellekens.

A few alterations will take place in the Dutch Pony A-team. Both Lotte Janssen and Danielle Houtvast will no longer be part of the pony team as both girls are turning 17 in 2009 and have to make the switch to horses. Houtvast has also sold her 9-year old stallion Domino to Luxembourg.

While Maria van den Dungen's is getting Dino P ready again for competition after an injury this summer, she has also obtained the ride over Majos Cannon, the liver chestnut stallion which became 6-year old Dutch Young Pony Champion under Lars op 't Hoog in 2008. Van den Dungen also recently sold her second pony Pan Tau B to the Aspnas family in Sweden. This weekend at the CDI-P Beek, Maria will compete her third pony Rembrandt DDH, a licensed pony stallion which was the 2007 Dutch Young Pony Champion and which she is preparing to compete in the CDI-P circuit in 2009.
