Ulrich Henschke to Succeed Gerd Folkers for the Oldenburg Verband

Ulrich Henschke will be succeeding Gerd Folkers in the Licensing Committee for the Oldenburg Verband in Germany. The 52-year old Henschke will join Dr. Wolfgang Schulze-Schleppinghoff, Wolfram Wittig, Sören Pedersen, and Georg Thole

in the stallion licensing committee and State Premium Mare Selection committee.

After being a member of the Oldenburg Licensing Committee for 32-years, Gerd Folkers decided to retire from the Licensing committee. However, he will continue to offer his expertise and experience in the Oldenburg mare and foal grading committee. He will join graders Hermann Beimforde, Ulrich Brinkhus, Karl Heinz Drees, Gerd Dannemann, Eric von Essen, Wolfgang Egbers, Dr. Evelin Schlotmann, Rainer Suhlmann and Clemens Graf von Merveldt.

Ulrich Henschke manages a dressage and breeding stable with his wife Birgit Wellhausen-Henschke in Bremen, Germany. He was successful as a show jumper up till S level and in dressage at M level. He was trained by Reinhard Baumgart and completed his rider's programme under Hans Joachim Köhler.
