British Grand Prix rider Fiona Bigwood has done some more shopping lately. After having purchased the Grand Prix dressage horse Mr G de Lully one month ago, Bigwood now also added the Trakehner stallion Lowelas to her string of horses.
Lowelas, by Hockey x Inster Graditz, was a premium stallion and crowd favorite at the 2003 Trakehner Stallion Licensing in Neumunster. Lowelas is bred by Hans-Erst Wezel, the breeder of the Olympic dressage horse Peron TSF. According to Trakehner International, Lowelas impressed audience and judges at the licensing " with his 10 trot, maximal shoulder freedom with very good suspension and flowing activity through his body."
Lowelas will be trained by Jana Freund of Ferienhof Stucker under the supervision of Bigwood's trainer Dieter Laugks.
