The 2002 Nurnberger Burgpokal, the unofficial German Prix St Georges Championships, were won by Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff aboard the world's loveliest mare Wahajama Unicef. The Nurnberg Burgpokal finals are determined by two tests. The first Finals' test is the qualifier to select a top three, which will compete each other in a the 'true' Siegerpreis finals.

The 2002 Euro Future Cup showed a high level of competition, yet the finals they did not feature all of Europe's top young riders. The best German and Dutch young riders, Nicole Giesen and Joyce Heutinck, were not present at the finals in Frankfurt, but this did not mean that the quality went downhill.

2002 Australian Young Dressage Horse Championships

At the 2002 Dressage With The Stars Australian Young Horse Championships, a very interesting lot of youngsters presented itself. Judging the finals was German Young Horse master Dr Ulf Moeller, who's an active propagandist in Australia for the PSI horses he trains and sells in Hagen, Germany. At the Australian Young Horse Championships, Moeller correctly chose the best ones for the top three.
