Yvonne Losos de Muniz Returns to the Ring with New Found Confidence and Horses

Making her surprise comeback to the sport of dressage after losing her fight against the FEI to claim her spot at the 2012 London Olympics, Dominican Republic's Yvonne Losos de Muniz has returned to the arena with some talented small tour horses. Losos de Muniz made her jack in the box come back producing promising results first at the 2014 CDI Saugerties on 19 - 21 September 2014 and then at the 2014 CDI-W Devon on 25 - 28 September 2014.

Severo Jurado Lopez Not to Return to The Netherlands, Stays in Denmark

Spanish Grand Prix rider Severo Jurado Lopez, who achieved international fame riding his former employer Gert Jan van Olst's stallions, will not be returning to The Netherlands after all.  The Spanish rider has decided to stay in Denmark.

Renowned Welsh Pony Sire Principal Boy Passed Away

The renowned foundation Welsh pony stallion Principal Boy has passed away at age 28 last week. The chestnut German Riding Pony registered stallion was profoundly stamped German sport pony breeding.

Norwegian Junior Team Horse Shiraz Black Passed Away

Norwegian junior team rider Carina Brynildsen has tragically lost her top horse Shiraz Black right after competing at the 2014 CDI-PJYR in Odense, Denmark, last week. The day after after Odense wrapped up for them, Thursday 16 October, Shiraz Black had to be trailered to the equine clinic with acute colic.

Gal Wins 2014-2015 World Cup Western European League Opening Leg in Odense

(FEI press release) The Dutch were in dominant form at the World Cup™ Dressage 2014/2015 Western European League opening leg at Odense in Denmark on Sunday 19 October 2014, where Edward Gal pipped Adelinde Cornelissen for the main honours in the Grand Prix Freestyle.

Youth Riders Take Centre Stage at 2014 CDI-W Odense

Held in the third largest city of Denmark, the 2014 CDI-W Odense on 11 - 19 October 2014 welcomed a full program in the youth rider sections with home country Denmark dominating the pony division with riders  Karoline Rohmann, Anne Sophie Sorensen and Sandra Aagaard Hyrm taking the top three spots. In the Juniors and Young Riders sections some internationals caught a spot of the limelight with Germany's Franziska Schwiebert and Sweden’s Sofie Andersson leading the Juniors. In the Young Riders classes Sweden’s Emelie Aldenfalk, home-town girl Maja Andreasen and Danish Henriette Dam Vestergaard were at the top of the leader board.

Antonia Arl to Move to Junior Riders' Level with Equestricons Ziggy

2014 Belgian Pony champion Antonia Arl will be making the move to junior riders' level next show season aboard her new ride Equestricons Ziggy, a 2012 European Championship team gold medal winning horse. Celebrating her 14th birthday yesterday, the tall Antonia has outgrown her ponies quicker than expected and will therefore be making an early transition to junior level.

Tom Dvorak's Grand Prix Horse Viva's Salieri W Passed Away

Canadian team rider Tom Dvorak has lost his number one Grand Prix horse Viva's Salieri W, a 13-year old Hanoverian stallion by Viva Voltaire x Salieri. The chestnut stallion, nicknamed Socks, did not survive a colic attack.

Photo Report: Von Bredow Rules the Roost at 2014 CDI-W Kaposvar

The 2014-2015 World Cup circuit in Central and Eastern Europe has lifted off with already its third Central European League qualifier taking place at Kaposvar, Hungary, on 10 - 12 October 2014. After a kick off in Czosnow (POL) followed by a first indoor world cup in Tallin (EST), Kaposvar was the third station. The German sister-brother duo Jessica and Benjamin Werndl ruled the roost taking the two top places in the Grand Prix and Kur to Music.

Held in the third largest city of Denmark, the 2014 CDI-W Odense on 11 - 19 October 2014 welcomed a full program in the youth rider sections with home country Denmark dominating the pony division with riders  Karoline Rohmann, Anne Sophie Sorensen and Sandra Aagaard Hyrm taking the top three spots. In the Juniors and Young Riders sections some internationals caught a spot of the limelight with Germany's Franziska Schwiebert and Sweden’s Sofie Andersson leading the Juniors. In the Young Riders classes Sweden’s Emelie Aldenfalk, home-town girl Maja Andreasen and Danish Henriette Dam Vestergaard were at the top of the leader board.

Antonia Arl to Move to Junior Riders' Level with Equestricons Ziggy

2014 Belgian Pony champion Antonia Arl will be making the move to junior riders' level next show season aboard her new ride Equestricons Ziggy, a 2012 European Championship team gold medal winning horse. Celebrating her 14th birthday yesterday, the tall Antonia has outgrown her ponies quicker than expected and will therefore be making an early transition to junior level.

Canadian team rider Tom Dvorak has lost his number one Grand Prix horse Viva's Salieri W, a 13-year old Hanoverian stallion by Viva Voltaire x Salieri. The chestnut stallion, nicknamed Socks, did not survive a colic attack.

The 2014-2015 World Cup circuit in Central and Eastern Europe has lifted off with already its third Central European League qualifier taking place at Kaposvar, Hungary, on 10 - 12 October 2014. After a kick off in Czosnow (POL) followed by a first indoor world cup in Tallin (EST), Kaposvar was the third station. The German sister-brother duo Jessica and Benjamin Werndl ruled the roost taking the two top places in the Grand Prix and Kur to Music.

I can hardly believe that there is only one major show out of five left this summer. When July started it felt like I had this gigantic mountain to climb, a mountain of work, but now it's already four down and one more to go, the 2014 World Equestrian Games.

Antonia Arl to Move to Junior Riders' Level with Equestricons Ziggy

2014 Belgian Pony champion Antonia Arl will be making the move to junior riders' level next show season aboard her new ride Equestricons Ziggy, a 2012 European Championship team gold medal winning horse. Celebrating her 14th birthday yesterday, the tall Antonia has outgrown her ponies quicker than expected and will therefore be making an early transition to junior level.

Tom Dvorak's Grand Prix Horse Viva's Salieri W Passed Away

Canadian team rider Tom Dvorak has lost his number one Grand Prix horse Viva's Salieri W, a 13-year old Hanoverian stallion by Viva Voltaire x Salieri. The chestnut stallion, nicknamed Socks, did not survive a colic attack.

The 2014-2015 World Cup circuit in Central and Eastern Europe has lifted off with already its third Central European League qualifier taking place at Kaposvar, Hungary, on 10 - 12 October 2014. After a kick off in Czosnow (POL) followed by a first indoor world cup in Tallin (EST), Kaposvar was the third station. The German sister-brother duo Jessica and Benjamin Werndl ruled the roost taking the two top places in the Grand Prix and Kur to Music.

Spanish Grand Prix rider Severo Jurado Lopez, who achieved international fame riding his former employer Gert Jan van Olst's stallions, will not be returning to The Netherlands after all.  The Spanish rider has decided to stay in Denmark.

Norwegian Junior Team Horse Shiraz Black Passed Away

Norwegian junior team rider Carina Brynildsen has tragically lost her top horse Shiraz Black right after competing at the 2014 CDI-PJYR in Odense, Denmark, last week. The day after after Odense wrapped up for them, Thursday 16 October, Shiraz Black had to be trailered to the equine clinic with acute colic.

Youth Riders Take Centre Stage at 2014 CDI-W Odense

Held in the third largest city of Denmark, the 2014 CDI-W Odense on 11 - 19 October 2014 welcomed a full program in the youth rider sections with home country Denmark dominating the pony division with riders  Karoline Rohmann, Anne Sophie Sorensen and Sandra Aagaard Hyrm taking the top three spots. In the Juniors and Young Riders sections some internationals caught a spot of the limelight with Germany's Franziska Schwiebert and Sweden’s Sofie Andersson leading the Juniors.
