Danish Olympian Princess Nathalie Zu Saeyn-Wittgenstein gave birth to a son on Saturday 24 July 2010. The baby was born at 18.33h and has been named Konstantin.

The "horsiest" nations on the southern hemisphere, Australia and New Zealand, were not considered serious dressage countries for a long time. Whereas Australia was able to send individual riders to World Championships and Olympic Games from the beginning of the 1980s, New Zealand had to wait much longer to appear on the international dressage stage.

2010 International Trakehner Championships

The International Trakehner Bundesturnier is a happening of a special kind. Trakehner horses from all over Europe come together for 4 days and compete in dressage and show jumping up to S levels, and in eventing and driving in classes for young horses. The idea behind this show originated over 20 years ago and the event was initiated in Westfalia in Vornholz, but later moved to Cologne, then followed by Bonn-Rodderberg and finally found a permanent home in Hanover.

There is a general misconception that equine physiotherapy is only useful for top level competition horses. Active show horses that are trained hard and competed on a regular basis have to deal with a bigger workload and experience more stress on their muscles than recreation horses or retired campers that spent the day frolicking about in the field or hacking through the woods.
