With the 2009 FEI General Assembly rapidly approaching the Dressage Task Force produced its official report of its one-year work since the abolition of the FEI Dressage Committee in November 2008.
Swedish young riders Johanna Due Boje and Sofie Lexners are the 2009 recipients of Ulla Håkanson's Ajax Fund. Both riders receive 200,000 Swedish Kroner (20,000 eur) from Håkanson which they can spend on the financially supporting their training and the development of their dressage career. The two girls received their award back in July at the CDI Falsterbo.
Richard Davison’s dedication and commitment to dressage was recognised at the Horse of the Year Show on Friday 9th October 2009 when he was presented with the HOYS Equestrian of the Year Award 2009.

The 18-year old Swedish junior rider Elisabeth Hjelm has been nominated as "Comet of the Year," an award given to the shooting star of Sweden at the annual Riders' Gala Ball held at the Globen in Stockholm, Sweden, on November 26, 2009.
