Nissan Gigolo FRH will say farewell to dressage competitions on November 19, 2000. At the CDI/CSI Stuttgart German Masters, the 17-year-old Hanoverian gelding by Graditz will be honoured for his life-time achievements.
One of the most important competition horses in dressage history has passed away. 32-year-old Amon, owned and ridden by Annemarie Sanders-Keyzer, died. With his departure he closed off the memory of dressage in the 80s.
The Duke of Newcastle Dressage Club and Riding Club Xenophon will be hosting a very special dressage weekend this year. On 14th and 15th October 2000 both clubs will be organising this dressage extravaganza at Het Azelhof in Koningshooikt (Lier), Belgium.
Good fortune for 20-year-old Dutch young rider Marlies van Baalen. Besides her own horses Roman Nature (by Rohdiamant), Habibi (by Ulft) and Inspekteur (by Darwin), Marlies also has control over the reins of the extremely talented Fidermark (by Florestan).
