After three successful editions, the KWPN Select Sale has earned a fixed place in the programme of the KWPN stallion approvals in Den Bosch. On Saturday 7 February 23 stallions will come under auctioneer Hans Sinnige's hammer.

Donnerhall's most successful licensed son Don Primero is returning to Germany. The dark bay breeding stallion by Donnerhall x Pik Bube I was sold to Sweden in October 1999 and bred there for three years.

Two important breeding sires for the Hanoverian Society in Germany have passed away. Natiello xx, by Sycos xx out of Nathia xx (by Athenagoras xx) was one out of eight licensed thoroughbreds for the Hanoverian society and was up for stud in Celle.

Oldenburg Breeding News

Gestut Vorwerk released the news that they have sold another stallion from their collection, this time Rosier. The dark bay stallion Rosier came to Gestut Vorwerk as a foal in 1991. Gudula Vorwerk-Happ had him licensed for the Oldenburg Verband in 1993.
