The 14-year old Oldenburg breeding stallion Plaisir d'Amour has moved to a new stallion station and has received once again a new rider. Trakehner brood farm Gestut Webelsgrund has promoted the dark bay stallion
Along with stable mate Regazzoni, the Hanoverian breeding stallion Bergamon has been sold to the United States. Bergamon, however, has moved to Stargate Farm in Texas, while Regazzoni is residing at Oldenburg Farm in Wisconsin.
The 11-year old Hanoverian stallion Regazzoni, approved in Germany with all societies, is sold to the United States. By the legendary Rubenstein, out of SPS Wakonda (by Werther), Regazzoni was previously owned by Ingo Pape of Hemmoor, Germany.
The 2002 Westfalian Stallion Licensing in Munster-Handorf, Germany, honoured stallion Rosencharmeur as 2002 Licensing Champion. The 12th NorthRhine Westfalian Stallion Licensing was a true success. Not only were large crowds present for the Licensing from December 2 to 4, 2002, but the collection of stallions was also very impressive this year.
At the end of the two day approval for young stallions at the Weser-Ems-Halle in Oldenburg, 33 of the 62 young stallions admitted to the approval received a positive approval rating. Ten of these were awarded a premium.
