“Honour to whom honour is due” was the motto of the Gala Ball of the 2013 P.S.I. Auction. The charming Judith Rakers, German news anchor, presented this awesome gala evening show with the focus being placed on people who considerably contributed to equestrian sports. These outstanding people were honoured with one-of-a-kind handmade horse sculptures, made from Swarowski crystal.
The 34th Performance Sales International in Ankum in Lower Saxony finished with a fantastic success. The 48 dressage and show jumping horses at the most important riding horse auction worldwide were sold at 13.202 million euro in total. The customers came from all over the world with part of them being connected through the telephone with Paul Schockemöhle and Ullrich Kasselmann during the auction to place their bids from far away.
On 7 and 8 December 2013 Ankum in Lower Saxony, Germany, will be the venue of the most important riding horse auction of the world: the P.S.I. Organizers Ullrich Kasselmann and Paul Schockemöhle are expecting guests and customers from all parts of the world. And fortunately, "Xaver" will not be one of them. They are gorgeously beautiful, tremendously sporty and show great promise: the 26 dressage horses of the P.S.I. collection this year showed up one more time, before the 34th P.S.I. Auction will be held on December 8 at the auction venue in Ankum.
