Beautiful gelding with fantastic potential to succeed in the dressage arena. A gem to own and handle.
Black Jack’s sire Weltmeyer is a legend. He was the 1986 winner of the stallion licensing in Verden, and the 1987 winner of the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf. In the same year Weltmeyer also won the three-year-old stallions classification at the Federal Championships of German Riding Horses in Warendorf. In 1988 he was honored in Verden as best stallion of his age-group and awarded with the "Freiherr von Stenglin-Prize". One year later he became DLG Champion 1989 in Frankfurt. And last but not least he became "Hanoverian Stallion of the Year" in 1998.
As of today, Weltmeyer has produced 70 licensed sons, all of them are excellent stallions. A study of the pedigrees of many internationally prominent Hanoverian dressage horses reveals that many are either by sons of Weltmeyer or out of one of his daughters. At the 2002 Ratje Niebuhr-Show, Weltmeyer was the leading sire. Out of 51 mares which placed first through third in 17 classes, Weltmeyer sired eight, including champion SPS Wiami and and reserve champion Wicke. Overall, his blood was present in one third of all the mares, by from 25% to 50% percent. When it comes to capacity for dressage and the temperament necessary for a top competitor, this stallion simply cannot be beaten. In 2005, Weltmeyer received a Breeding Value Index of 152 points, with an assurance of 99% heritability, from the German Equestrian Federation.
As dam sire De Niro has an excellent reputation. Most prominent example: His Grandson Hotline, champion stallion in Hanover in 2005 and currently one of the true greats in the Danish stud Blue Hors. Internationally the blood of the Medinger formative stallion is known and appreciated. The KWPN stallion Bretton Woods v. Johnson, in 2011 third at the world championships of young dressage horses and sold the same year for a seven digit amount to Paul Schockemöhle and Ann-Kathrin Linsenhoff, is by way of his mother De Niro's grandchild.
De Niro is ranked first in the ranking of the World Breeding Federation for Sports Horses. Therefore he is the best dressage stallion of the world. More than 70 licensed stallions originate from De Niro. His offspring are sought after everywhere and they are always successful.
I have owned Black Jack since he was six months old and I would like him to go to a professional home where his true potential will be realised and he will be loved. All our horses grow up under the best possible circumstances and are part of the family. Our studfarm is located near the coast and the youngsters enjoy daily turnout in our huge fields. Regular worming, farrier and dentist appointment are a matter of course.
