With 17 riders in the small tour in Aachen, the stage was set for the 2024 edition of the Festival 4 Dressage as the Prix St Georges was the opening class on Wednesday morning 26 March.

In cold and rainy conditions, local rider Julia de Ridder topped the board on the 8-year od Westfalian Diamantinos (by Dankeschon x Vitalis). De Ridder piloted her chestnut stallion, which the family discovered and bought as a foal from breeder August Deitermann, to a top score of 70.000%.  Julia had Belgian Jorinde Verwimp in her wake on her new ride, Vicomte de Reyves.
