Valencio was named the champion of the dressage colts at the 2024 Belgian Warmblood Stallion Licensing on 7 - 9 March 2024.
The third phase of the BWP licensing was held at equestrian center Azelhof in Koningshooikt, Belgium.
Six dressage colts participated in the third phase of the BWP licensing in which they were presented in hand, in freedom and under saddle.
The four accepted colts are:
- Vladymir Vd Horne (by Farrell x Zonik) - Breeder: Jean-pierre Renson - Owners: Kempenhoeve & Renson
- Valencio (by Racoon x Dayano) - Breeder & Owner: Arjan Bekkers
- Uberdale-v (by Everdale x Decamerone) - Breeder: Joris Vervecken - Owners Engelen Dressage & Joris Vervecken
- Underscore Vh Bloemenhof (by Quanto Curo V/h Bloemenhof x Quaterback) - Breeder & Owner: Isolde Tuypens
Two were rejected: Upsylon van Eglegem (by Danciano de Malleret x Faustinus) and Vettel S (by Vitalis x Werther).
The dressage champion was Valencio, bred by Dutchman Arjan Bekkers and sired by his home-bred stallion Racoon. He was presented under saddle by Anouk Ivits.
The champion of the licensing was show jumper Vitalis JS Van Het Hagenbroek (by Ermitage Kalone x Vannan).
