Peer Eitenmüller Appointed Breeding Director of the German Oldenburg Verband

Peer Eitenmüller has been elected Breeding Director of the German Oldenburg Breeding society (GOV). He succeeds Berhard Thoben. 

EitenMûller was elected to this position by the delegates who attended the general assembly of the Verband der Züchter des Oldenburger Pferdes e.V. and the Sportpferdezuchtverband Oldenburg-International e.V. on 5 February 2024 in Vechta. 

He will officially take his position as Breeding Director at the Oldenburg Horse Center Vechta on 1 March 2024, following the approval of his appointment by the Lower Saxony Chamber of Agriculture on 7 February 2024.

Peer Eitenmüller completed his master's degree in Agricultural Sciences with a focus on Livestock and Horse Sciences at the University of Göttingen. Horse breeding and equestrian sports have been integral parts of his life since childhood. In the saddle, he achieved success up to the L (dressage) and S (show jumping) levels. Peer Eitenmüller has been employed by the Oldenburger Verband since 2015. In addition to his role as  inspector at foal shows and the mare performance tests, he has been primarily responsible for stallion management and breeder support in European countries.
