The colt Fantomas became the price highlight of the 2023 DSP Foal auction in Sauerlach, Germany. The event took place in the indoor arena because of the heavy rainfall.
Fantomas (by Feliciano x San Amour), bred by the 79-year old Martin NIedermair, sold for the top price of 30,000 euro to a buyer from the Czech republic. The colt was the champion of the foal inspection.
The chestnut colt Forlando (by For Romance x Zalando) was the second most expensive foal, selling for 17,000 euro. He is bred by Peter Kelberger.
The filly Pinacoleen GE (by Le Formidable x Secret), bred by Steffen Jagn at Gestüt Elstertal, sold online for 15,000 euro to a buyer from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
Felicio (by Feliciano x Davignon) sold for 11,500 euro. Two foals fetched 10,000 euro: Feridia (by Fair Deal x Morricone) and Janeiro GE (by Jameson x Sandro Hit).
Viva Vido (by Vingino x Stolzenberg) went for 8,750 euro.
Nineteen foals were sold out of a collection of 20. Only one moves abroad. The average price was 9,526 euro.
