The Dutch Equestrian Federation and KWPN society have decided that the first selection round for a Dutch delegation for the 2020 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses will be decided based on videos.

Due to the Corona crisis the official Dutch WCYH selection trials cannot take place. The World Championships will take place in Verden, Germany, on 5 - 9 August 2020 and so far this event has not been cancelled.

Therefore, KNHS and KWPN decided to begin a selection trajectory based on videos.

All riders who had entered their horses for the first selection trial on 20 - 21 April in Ermelo and now asked to send a video tape to the selection committee, which consists of Floor Dröge, Monique Peutz and Johan Rockx.

Based on the videos the committee will pick 20 horses per age division to present themselves at a second selection trial, in the flesh, on 15 - 16 June in Ermelo.  The committee will then immediately announce the selected horses for Verden.

On 24 July the selected horses will have a training seminar in preparation of Verden.
