Lowlands, the reserve champion of the 2019 KWPN Autumn Stallion Performance Test, has been sold to Mary Alice Malone of Iron Spring Farm in Coatesville, PA, U.S.A.

Lowlands is a 4-year old Oldenburg bred stallion by Millennium out of Rastede brilliantring mare La Donna S (by Donnerball x Landadel). He is bred by B. Schrapper in Germany.

He was presented at the 2019 KWPN licensing by Eugene Reesink. At the autumn stallion performance testing, which concluded in January 2020, Lowlands scored the second highest overall mark of 87.5 points. He earned 9.5 on the walk, 8.5 on trot, canter, elasticity and balance and a 9 on rideability and attitude.

Lowlands has now been sold to Mary Alice Malone of Iron Spring Farm

"The addition of Lowlands represents a long search for a young stallion with the right mix of athleticism, pedigree, temperament, and soundness for sport and breeding," said Meghan de Garay, breeding manager at Iron Spring Farm. "He's a beautiful, rideable stallion with wonderful bloodlines. He has a lot of German blood, which means he can play an important role in Dutch breeding as a blood freshener because he is completely free of Jazz, Ferro and Flemmingh."

Lowlands will remain in the Netherlands for breeding and training with Dinja van Liere.
