Deutsche Bank Equestrian Sport Academy Announces 2020 Grant Recipients

The Deutsche Bank Equestrian Sport Academy announced the new grant recipients for 2020 at the CDI Frankfurt on Sunday 22 December 2019. 

This year six dressage riders were nominated, compared to 9 in 2019. Two of them are new-comers to the program: Ann Kathrin Lindner and Raphael Netz. 

The grant recipients receive training from German team trainer Monica Theodorescu, wild cards to international shows and mentoring through the Deutsche Bank to help build and develop their professional riding career.

The Deutsche Bank Equestrian Sport Academy was founded in 2015 and began in 2016 with 10 training grant recipients in its first year. There were 14 in 2017, 9 in 2018 and 9 in 2019.

The grant recipients for 2020 are:

  • Jil-Marielle Becks
  • Hannah Erbe
  • Ann-Kathrin Lindner
  • Raphael Netz
  • Bianca Nowag

The outgoing alumni are Kathleen Keller, Lisa-Maria Klössinger, Ninja Rathjens, Anna-Magdalena Scheßl and Franziska Stieglmaier.
