The Danish equestrian federation (DRF) has released a second statement in the matter of Danish pony team trainer Jette Nevermann, who violated the DRF ethical rules at the 2019 Nordic Baltic Championships on 27 June 2019.

Nevermann was expelled from the 2019 Nordic Baltic Championships in Vilhelmsborg for unnecessary use of whip. Two stewards as well as a treating vet had observed the questionable behavior on her part.

After processing all information relating to the incident, the Danish federation gave Nevermann a written warning.

In the written warning "it is emphasized that the behavior she exhibited in the situation in question is unacceptable and contrary to the ethical rules of the Danish Ride Federation," said DRF secretary general Morten Schram Rodtwitt. "It is also makes clear that compliance with the ethical rules is a basic prerequisite for being employed by the Danish Ride Federation."

DRF communication consultant Julie Servé Regtved told Eurodressage, that "the FEI will not be sanctioning in this matter. At this point, we will not be giving out any more details about the incident. Our main priority is to emphasize that any unnecessary use of a whip is not accepted by DRF. "
