Dutch Teams Selected for 2019 European Youth Riders Championships

The Dutch equestrian federation has announced the teams that will represent The Netherlands at the 2019 European Youth Riders Championships in San Giovanni in Marignano, Italy; on 24 - 28 July 2019. 

Grand Prix rider Imke Schellekens-Bartels will make her debut as Dutch team trainer for the Children, while 4* judge Monique Peutz is in charge of the juniors, young riders and Under 25 riders. 

Following the final team observation trial at the CDI Exloo on 28 - 30 June 2019, the Dutch team trainers selected the following riders on the teams:

Children

  • Lara van Nek  - Amazing Comeback (reserve horse Fariska)
  • Anniek van Dulst  - Isala’s Arielle
  • Senna Evers - Happy Feet
  • Maura Knipscheer  - Amaretto

The reserve is Amber Schelstraete on Burberry

Junior Riders

  • Marten Luiten - Fynona
  • Sanne van de Pols – Excellentie (reserve horse Cuvanck PP)
  • Annemijn Boogaard -  Fullspeed TC
  • Pem Verbeek  - Fernando Torres

The reserve is Chiel van Bedaf with Floris

Young Riders

  • Daphne van Peperstraten - Cupido
  • Esmée Donkers  - Chaina
  • Thalia Rockx - Verdi de la Fazenda
  • Kimberley Pap  - Vloet Victory

The reserve is Zoë Kuintjes  with Brittsion 

Under 25 Riders

  • Jasmien de Koeyer - Esperanza
  • Jeanine Nieuwenhuis  - TC Athene
  • Carlijn Huberts  - Watoeshi
  • Denise Nekeman - Boston STH

The reserve is Lisanne Zoutendijk on Watteau
